My husband and I met Jack at a bridal fair and knew then he would be our photographer. From our initial meeting, Jack was friendly, amiable, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. He absolutely loves his job and enjoyed spending time taking our pictures. in fact, he wanted to take even more pictures than we had energy for...We have amazing pictures from both our engagement shots and from our wedding. It is also great that he gave us all our pictures with full resolution. We would definitely use Jack again in a heartbeat- and we look forward to having him take pictures at future parties and events.

My husband and I were very impressed with Jack and his team. He knew what our goals were for pictures and more importantly, respected our time during the wedding. Before the wedding, he met with me to check out the venue as it was mostly outdoor and I was concerned with the lighting. Jack suggested Legion of Honor and Baker beach for our engagement photoshoot. He was very lively and fun to work with. He suggested us a lot of poses and we never felt awkward while communicating with him. He was very passionate about photography and he wanted to get the best shots of us where ever possible. He also spent very less time setting up his camera and tripod which allowed him to take a lot of pics in just 90 minutes.
Since we were in a hurry to finish up our website, we requested him to send us some pictures at least within a couple of days. In fact, he sent us all the photos quickly. Boy, did they look great!

HIRE HIM! Seriously... do it :-) You can't ask for a better photographer! Jack did an amazing job at our wedding. He clearly loves what he does. The proof is in the results AND the experience. Not sure how he does it but he has a way of capturing those perfect and true candid moments of emotion. He'll guide you through it, can roll with those unexpected changes at your events, and is super prompt. Expect a little bit of wait on the photos but this is because the additional fine tuning he does on them. It's very worth it. I highly recommend him. You need someone to trust with capturing your once in a lifetime event? This is your guy.

We have hired Jack as our wedding photographer and could not be more pleased with our experience so far. He is very personable and eager to make his clients' dreams come true. When we took our engagement photos in San Francisco, he was very willing to listen to all of our ideas (I had quite a list from Pinterest!) And provided many of his own. I agree with everyone else that wrote a review for Jack. He is great to work with. From our initial meeting and throughout the entire process Jack was there the entire time. He was responsive, detailed, attentive and made our lives very easy. Besides that the pictures turned out amazing. We were both very happy with all of the pictures. Most importantly, he is a man of his word. He did what he said he would and how we wanted which is rare these days. Jack is also very patient and accommodating.
We plan on using Jack for future events and highly recommend him to anyone for any occasion. You won't regret using Jack.

Jack is an incredibly talented photographer. My wife and I hired him to shoot our wedding in August 2014, and we couldn't be happier with how our photos turned out. We knew him as an NBA photographer, and those skills certainly translate to wedding photography. He has a knack for capturing expressions. When we were going through our photos, we couldn't believe how many great candid shots there were, and from varying angles as well.
In addition to being a great photographer, he's super easy to work with. I've been to weddings where the photographers are rather intrusive, and Jack's pretty much the opposite of that. He's super professional and was never "in the way" of anything that happened at our wedding.

We met Jack at the Palo Alto wedding fair and were impressed by his enthusiasm and technical knowledge, particularly his knowledge of lighting and equipment setup to capture a whole room and the people in it. I'm not a photography expert but I do know some basic things about optics from my physics background, and he easily and expertly answered all my questions. We had him take some engagement photos at San Francisco City Hall, and for our reception at Cliff House. For both of these venues, a good sense of the lighting is important and we were definitely happy with our photos.
