Corinne and Adam were one of many couples who had a big wedding planned with a long list of guests in attendance, only to find themselves postponing their wedding date due to Covid19. Well, I am getting ahead of myself here, Corinne and Adam postponed what is to now be their wedding reception at Ruby Hill to next summer, while they went forward with a small covid style wedding now. How will their reception look to their long list of guests next summer? I have heard the couple discuss showcasing large photos of their wedding ceremony at their reception next year, they also mentioned possibly playing images from their ceremony on a TV screen during cocktail hour and having some sort of live ceremony as well. It will be interesting to see how couples who decided to have a small covid wedding this past summer design their large wedding receptions next summer.

Looking back on this beautiful wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Lake Tahoe I cant help to think that this couple did it right. Think about it, how often can you say that you can visit your wedding site with your family every year while skiing in beautiful Lake Tahoe. Imaging going on a family skiing trip 20 years from now and seeing your kids running around the backside of the Ritz and saying to yourself ‘right there in the middle of the grass is where we tied the knot’ and had a beautiful outdoor dinner, that’s what makes this wedding site unique.

After the ceremony we walked around the grounds and took formal bride and groom portraits, the B&G portraits were all taken with a fill light as to go for a more colorful regal look.
